Whoa! I wasn't expecting that! So Ianto is, at the very least, rather longer-lived than the average human. I guess that means there's a good chance that he's not human, or at least not entirely.
But poor Ianto. Seems like to Torchwood he was merely a useful commodity, to be used however they saw fit. I guess he doesn't have a say in what happens to him after all. Or hasn't up to now.
